Race Cards

Visit the race card home page to access cards, non-runners, and course summaries. Click the Summary button to view key runner information for all races at a meeting.

  • Start with the Meeting Summary to scan all races at a glance before diving into individual cards.
  • Sort runners by Pick Rank to see our top-rated runners first, or by Odds for the market view.
  • Non-runners are shown with a strikethrough — always check for late withdrawals before placing bets.
  • Use the race card filters to show/hide columns and focus on the data that matters to you.

Form & Statistics

Use the button for comments, past performances, trainer and jockey stats. Click past race dates to view race strength information.

  • Recent form figures read left to right: 1 = won, 2 = second, 0 = finished outside top 9, - = no recent runs.
  • Click on any past race date to see the full result — check how strong the competition was that day.
  • Trainer and jockey stats show strike rate at this course and over different time periods — look for patterns, not just the overall number.
  • Days since last run matters: 14-30 days is usually ideal for flat, longer gaps are normal for jumps.

Ratings

Live horseshoe ratings and selection picks update throughout the day as betting markets develop. Colour-coded ratings: green (positive), amber (neutral), red (risky). Enhanced and Pro subscribers can click any horseshoe for an AI explanation, and click the sparkle icon for a full Horse DNA profile.

10 Year Trends

View up to 10 previous runnings of a race to spot patterns from past winners. Access from on a racecard.

Hot & Cold Trainers/Jockeys

Hot trainers and jockeys have high strike rates and cold ones low strike rates over the past 14 days. Following form over reputation often works well.

Pace & Draw Analysis

Pace and draw insights help predict how a race may be run. Find colour-coded draw and running style data under → Form tab.

Results

Check the latest results as they come in. View winners, placed horses, distances and times. Results link back to race cards so you can review your analysis.

Search

Search for any horse, or use Search Today's Runners to filter across all meetings. Search and sort every data table by clicking column headers or typing in the search box.

Historical Races

Browse historical race meetings to study past cards and results. Search by date, course, or race type to research trends and patterns.

Personalisation

Update your profile to tailor BetTurtle to your preferences. Choose dark or light mode, Simple or Full view, card display order (pick rank, odds, or draw), condensed views, and 60+ other display settings.

Mobile & Accessibility

BetTurtle works on all devices. Simple View (on by default) gives phone users a cleaner race card — horseshoes, picks, odds, form and tips stay visible while ratings, icons and extra detail are hidden. Switch to Full view in Quick Settings if you want everything. Tablets and desktops always show the full card. Dark mode reduces eye strain and all ratings use letters alongside colours for accessibility.
