Today's Tips

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
NB Brighton 2:20 Tomily (IRE) 10/11 View BetTurtle Racecard
Gone close on both starts and form pick here for the Hannon yard.
Fakenham 3:30 Prideofthecastle (IRE) 4/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Only had the 4 runs over fences and showed promise over this trip last time. With cheekpieces fitted for the first time and Tom Scudamore back in the saddle should be in the mix at the end.
NAP Exeter 8:15 Misterton 15/8 View BetTurtle Racecard
Second last twice and the form choice in this race with Richard Johnson taking the ride.

Each Way Value Tips

Our each way bets are horses at decent prices (5/1+) we think can go close to winning.
Ballinrobe 7:05 Highest Benefit (IRE) 7/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
2nd on handicap debut last time and open to further improvement and worth an interest.
Ballinrobe 8:05 King Blue (IRE) 11/2 View BetTurtle Racecard
Unexposed over fences. Won at Limerick latest, remains in form and feasibly weighted.
Ballinrobe 8:35 Polymath (IRE) 6/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Last run can be excused and should be competitive based on previous bumper form.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
LAY Fakenham 2:00 Kiama Bay (IRE) 7/4 View BetTurtle Racecard
Has not won for almost 2 years and has been struggling for form in higher grade races. Dropped to a seller today, but has it to prove after a short break.
LAY Fakenham 4:35 All Together (FR) 10/11 View BetTurtle Racecard
Hasn't raced over hurdles since finishing a close 2nd at this course last May. Needs to prove stamina over this trip and others preferred.
BACK Exeter 5:45 Moabit (GER) 2/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Ran well to finish second on UK debut in January. Open to improvement and can go close for the Nicholls yard.
LAY Exeter 5:45 Aston Cantlow 2/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
0 from 6 in hurdles races and up against a number of unexposed rivals today.
BACK Catterick 5:55 Clem Fandango (FR) 4/5 View BetTurtle Racecard
Close 2nd at Beverley last time and beating a number of today's rivals. Can build on that performance.
LAY Exeter 6:15 Avispa 6/4 View BetTurtle Racecard
0 from 8 over hurdles and has finished second in 5 of those. So not to be trusted.
BACK Catterick 6:55 Musdam (USA) 4/7 View BetTurtle Racecard
Close up 3rd on debut on All Weather at Lingfield. Open to improvement for the Stoute yard and should take all the beating here.
LAY OF THE DAY Ballinrobe 8:35 Miguel Angel (FR) 11/8 View BetTurtle Racecard
Looks short enough on debut for Mullins yard. Plenty of other unexposed opposition to take him on with.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.

Puzzle Of The Day

Here's where we challenge you to see if you can use the tools we provide in BetTurtle to find the winner in this race, a race we think could spring a big price surprise as we have doubts about the favourite at this morning's prices. Mail us your thoughts/selection or tweet us @betturtle
Unfortunately our weak favourite Dunraven Storm won yesterday at 4/1JF.
