Today's Tips

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
Catterick 3:30 Invermere 3/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Won over course and distance earlier this month and remains feasibly handicapped. Should go close.
NAP Bath 6:00 Final Choice 1/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Received no breaks when an unlucky 2nd at this course last week. Should win if avoiding trouble.
NB Bath 7:30 St Michel 2/1 View BetTurtle Racecard
Won easily at Chelmsford latest stepped up in trip. Will take all the beating with 6lbs extra to carry.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
LAY Catterick 2:00 Rusumaat (IRE) 11/8 View BetTurtle Racecard
Had limitations exposed at Royal Ascot latest and short priced up against a number of unexposed rivals.
BACK Worcester 4:20 Preseli Rock (IRE) 10/11 View BetTurtle Racecard
Won easily on stable debut latest. Can carry on the improvement here.
LAY Catterick 5:00 Scarpeta (FR) 6/4 View BetTurtle Racecard
Won twice in May, but has been creeping up the weights and beaten into 2nd last two outings. Remains in form, but worth looking elsewhere for a bit of value.
BACK Kempton (A.W) 7:10 Fancy Day (IRE) 15/8 View BetTurtle Racecard
Comfortable debut win at Pontefract and with more to come stepping up to 7furlongs, will take the beating here.
LAY OF THE DAY Bath 8:00 Burguillos 4/5 View BetTurtle Racecard
Was beaten by 9 lengths on a softish surface at Newbury on debut and needs to prove liking for this going on 3rd start. Risky at this short a price.
LAY Bath 8:30 Kody Ridge (IRE) 3/2 View BetTurtle Racecard
Placed in all 3 starts to date, but short enough priced against a number of unexposed rivals so taking on.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
