Newmarket 2:15 British Ebf Fillies' Series Sprint Handicap (2) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  5  Summer Chorus
Won a decent Newmarket maiden in August and has been placed in two attempts since. Can go close again off the same mark today.

Ascot 2:30 Gigaset Cumberland Lodge Stakes (Group 3) (1) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  8  Move Up
Has won 4 from 7 and is progressive having won a Group 2 in Turkey latest. Will need to improve again to take this, but that is a distinct possibility.

Newmarket 2:50 British Ebf Promoting Fillies' Series Handicap (2) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  10  Farandine
Course winner on 3rd start last October. Made a respectable seasonal return earlier this month and likely to strip fitter this time and can go close.

Ascot 3:05 John Guest Bengough Stakes (Group 3) (1) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  9  Shalaa
Makes seasonal return following injury having won last 5 races including 2 Group 1s. Should be up to winning this if fit enough to do himself justice.

Redcar 3:15 Totepool Two-Year-Old Trophy Stakes (Listed Race) (1) 2yo
View BetTurtle Racecard
  8  Mazyoun
0 from 3, but finished a decent 2nd in a £150K sales race latest. This return to 6 furlongs should suit and can progress once again.

Newmarket 3:25 British Stallion Studs Ebf Fillies' Series Middle Distance Handicap (2) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  9  High Hopes
Has won last two, both at Ffos Las, very easily. Up 7lbs, but plenty more to come and should be in the mix.

Ascot 3:40 Totescoop6 Challenge Cup (Heritage Handicap) (2) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  1  Buckstay
Last year's winner and can put up a bold show from an 8lbs higher mark for an in form yard.

Newmarket 4:00 Kingdom Of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes (British Champions Series) (Group 1) (Fillies & Mares) (1) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  3  Ervedya
3 times Group 1 winner in 2015 and ran respectably in a Group 1 in France latest. A big player today and can get her first win of the season.

Ascot 4:15 Ascot And Camra 10th Anniversary Rous Stakes (Listed Race) (1) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  1  Double Up
Course and Distance winner who was a disappointing favourite at Beverley last time. Had excuses that day and expect a much improved performance here.

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
  4  Certificate
  Redcar    3:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won two competitive handicaps on last two runs and 5lbs rise may not be enough to stop him going in again.

  2  Sea Shack
  Newmarket    4:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Lightly raced and put up a brave front running performance when winning at Goodwood latest. Open to further improvement and can go close with similar tactics.

  1  Highbury High
  Fontwell    4:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won at Warwick latest start and has run well at this course without winning on several occassions. With doubts surrounding today's favourite, can take advantage.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
  3 City Of Joy
  Redcar    2:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Beaten in both starts and no surprise to see one of the less exposed opponents improving past him.

  8 Grotesque
Gowran Park    2:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Form choice, but been off the track since April and may need this.

  4 Nonchalant
  Redcar    2:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Drops in class and clear form choice with Champion Jockey contender Jim Crowley in the saddle. Hasn't won for 896 days and 26 starts though and one to have reservations about.

  1 Road To Riches
Gowran Park    3:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has fallen and pulled up (was struck into) last twice, but form before that would make him a major player. Plenty short enough in the market and taken on in the hope one or two of today's opponents can improve past him.

  7 Alice Springs
  Newmarket    4:00  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won two Group 1 in last 3 starts and has a sound chance here. However, this race has been won by 5 French trainers in the past 10 years and they are well represented today, so hopefuly won of them can take this.

  1 Affaire D'Honneur
  Fontwell    4:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
0 from 3 and may need this on seasonal re-appearance.

  8 Tocororo
Gowran Park    4:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Easy Galway Grade 3 winner and can take this before moving onto better things.

  2 Unify
  Fontwell    4:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Finally broke duck on 15th attempt for new yard over 2 miles at Southwell latest.  Overall profile suggests not one to be confident about at a short price, especially now stepping up to 2.5 miles.

  6 Lieutenant Colonel
Gowran Park    5:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Top class hurdler making chasing debut. Should win given a clear round of jumping.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
