Channel 4 Racing Tips

  1  Henryville 8/1
Ran respectably on chasing debut latest and should strip fitter under conditions that suit. Should go well off of top weight.

  5  Tomily 9/1
The Hannon yard have won this twice in recent seasons and a chance is taken on Tomily who has the assistance of the new champion jockey Jim Crowley for the first time.

View BetTurtle Racecard
  9  Western Hymn 7/1
Has run in 3 Group 1s this year and made a respectable return in a Group 3 at Ascot following a 70 day break. The ground may have been too soft that day and on this better ground can outclass this field for the in form John Gosden yard.

Doncaster 2:40 Sunbets.Co.Uk Top Price Templegate Tips Handicap (2) 3yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  15  A Momentofmadness 14/1

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
  1  Agent Boru 5/4
  Punchestown    5:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Made a highly respectable debut at Navan latest finishing 2nd and can build on that today with doubts over main market rival.

  1  Work 15/8
Chelmsford (A.W)    8:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Lightly raced and won by 3.5 lengths stepping up to 2 miles at this course latest. This race looks easier and should go well again dropping slightly in trip for an in form yard.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
  1 Brio Conti  6/4
  Kelso    2:00  View BetTurtle Racecard
One of two runners that makes the long journey north for the in form Paul Nicholls yard. Makes seasonal and hurdling debut today and may need the experience. Looks short enough in the market with a couple of interesting rivals in opposition.

  5 Wholestone  15/8
  Cheltenham    2:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Form of latest Warwick win is questionable and worth taking on at such a short price.

13 Stand Up And Fight  2/1
  Punchestown    2:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Went close on hurdling debut when last seen in April. Open to progress this year, but may need the run and further experience.

  2 Warriors Tale  11/8
  Kelso    2:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won a hurdle race in 2015 at this course and easily won a 4 runner Perth Chase when last seen in May. Needs to improve to win this though and others preferred at this morning's odds.

  1 Adrien Du Pont  6/4
  Cheltenham    3:00  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won 3 from 4 hurdle starts and can improve, but will find this tougher conceding weight to some decent rivals.

  4 Identity Thief  4/9
  Punchestown    3:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Rated 159 over hurdles and a clear round will suffice on chasing bow.

  1 Another Bill  15/8
  Kelso    3:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
One win from 4 over hurdles. Best form when winning a weak Hexham hurdle in May. More than likely that one or two of today's rivals can improve past him.

  10 Yucatan  11/10
  Doncaster    3:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Aiden O'Brien has won this race 3 times in the past 10 years and Yucatan is a runner with potential having raced 3 times. He went close in a Group 2 at the Curragh latest, but needs to improve on that bare form to win this. May win, but best to take on at this morning's prices.

  3 Disko  11/10
  Punchestown    4:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
A talking horse with expectations high for a decent season. Makes seasonal return and chasing debut today and worth taking on at short odds in the hope he needs the experience.

2 Bel Ami De Sivola  6/4
  Punchestown    5:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
0 wins from 3 starts and makes seasonal return having been off the track for 301 days. May need this.

  5 Fort Bastion  2/1
Chelmsford (A.W)    6:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
520 days and 20 runs since last win. Best to swerve on all weather debut.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
