Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
  1  Action Replay 9/4
  Plumpton    12:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Favourites have won the last 6 runnings of this race and he can continue that trend today having gone into several notebooks last time with Barry Geraghty travelling over from Ireland for the ride and a yard that is 1 from 2 recently at the course

  1  The Doorman 18/1
  Ayr    1:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has not shown anything in two starts since a break, but has dropped in the weights as a result and could show improved form in the easiest race he has tackled in a while for the JP McManus yard. Any market support would be significant.

  8  Sarabi 11/1
Southwell (A.W)    1:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Ran Piazon to 1.5 lengths over course and distance last month and now enjoys a 7lbs pull over that rival today (14lbs if you include today's riders claim)

  3  Whiskey Chaser 6/1
  Ayr    2:00  View BetTurtle Racecard
Pulled up on seasonal debut last time, but prior to that had show progressive form over fences. With the Donald McCain yard announcing a return to form with two winners yesterday, he is worth an interest.

  2  Marshgate Lane 5/2
Southwell (A.W)    2:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
3 from 4 in claimers and is Neil Mullholland's only runner at a track where he has had 2 winners from 3 runners in recent seasons

  12  Macho Mac 5/2
Southwell (A.W)    3:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won convincingly on fibresand debut last month and with the form of that race franked by two subsequent winners can handle this step up in class today.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
  2 Canadian Diamond  3/2
Southwell (A.W)    12:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
The obvious one in this race having won with a bit in hand at Kempton latest, but at a short morning price is worth opposing.

  7 King Of Fashion  5/4
  Ayr    12:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Had been well beaten on all 3 previous starts prior to showing significant improvement on return from a break last time. There is a risk he may have been flattered and at such short morning odds is worth taking on.

  2 Laissez Dire  3/2
  Plumpton    1:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
The Alan King yard has won this race 3 times in the recent past and look to have an excellent chance of making it 4 with Laissez Dire a strong favourite having made a highly respectable UK debut at Catterick in November.

  1 Baron Alco  7/4
  Plumpton    1:20  View BetTurtle Racecard

  4 Little Bruce  2/1
  Ayr    1:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won at Wetherby last week and can go well under a penalty, but with plenty of rivals that could spring a surprise is worth taking on under a penalty and with softer conditions today

  1 No Comment  3/2
  Plumpton    1:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has an obvious chance having won over course and distance last time, but is likely to go off at prohibitive odds in a tricky race and giving weight away to main rivals.

  1 Ominotago  11/8
Southwell (A.W)    2:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Looks like a poor value bet, albeit he has the best form on offer and is open to further improvement

  9 Sober Sailor  15/8
  Plumpton    2:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won at Fontwell on Boxing day and escapes a penalty, but that was his first win in 13 starts and is not one to rely on to follow up

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
