Won well at Wetherby last month and more improvement to come off an 8lbs higher mark.

Wincanton 2:05 Bathwick Tyres Handicap Chase (0-145) (2) 5yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
7  Walk In The Mill 7/2
Can follow up Exeter win and improve for this longer trip.

Sandown 2:25 32red Tolworth Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) (1) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  4  Charlemar 8/1
2 from 2 over hurdles and open to further improvement. The value option in this race at morning prices.

View BetTurtle Racecard
  5  Wild West Wind 4/1
A former point winner making chase debut. He was useful over hurdles last season and may make an even better chaser.

Sandown 3:00 32red Veterans' Handicap Chase (The Final Of The 2016 Veterans' Chase Series) (2) 9yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  4  Gas Line Boy 9/1
Impressive Kelso winner and can go close again off a 9lbs higher mark.

Wincanton 3:15 Bathwick Tyres Poole Handicap Hurdle (0-130) (3) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  4  Above Board 4/1
Won at Carlisle in December with a minimum of fuss and looks progressive for top connections.

Sandown 3:35 32red.Com Handicap Hurdle (0-150) (2) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  10  Krugermac 5/1
Showed plenty of potential when last seen and worth risking fitness on first start for 392 days.

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
  5  Lifeboat Mona 9/4
  Sandown    12:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
3 from 4 over hurdles and won impressively at Ascot on seasonal return last time. Can improve further and go close.

  6  Revocation 5/1
  Newcastle    1:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Placed in last 4 starts and is open to improvement over this longer distance.

  12  Frivolous Prince 3/1
Wolverhampton (A.W)    5:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Hasn't won for a while, but is knocking on the door and tonight could be the night.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
4 Listen To The Man  1/4
  Newcastle    11:55  View BetTurtle Racecard
Decent bumper performer and should have little trouble winning this if putting in a clear round.

  2 Envisaging  7/4
Lingfield (A.W)    12:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
May have needed run last time following a short break and is open to improvement.

  1 Morning Suit  11/8
Lingfield (A.W)    12:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has been running well at Newcastle, but has failed to win on last 4 attempts and unproven at this track.

  1 Coeur De Lion  1/2
  Sandown    12:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Flattered to proximity to winner when finishing 2nd at Cheltenham latest and a suggestion he will be better over further.

  1 Forest Bihan  4/7
  Newcastle    12:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Followed up winning chase debut with a respectable 2nd at over course and distance latest. Open to further improvement and this looks a weak race.

  2 Veinard  5/4
  Cork    12:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has been running well, but 1 win in 13 races suggests he isn't one to trust at short prices.

  1 Chateau Conti  4/7
  Cork    1:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Will be popular in the market for the WIllie Mullins team and no surprise if he wins. May need this though having been off the course for 223 days.

  7 Van Huysen  15/8
Lingfield (A.W)    1:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
In the form of his life having 5 wins in last 9 and has won last 2. Up another 4lbs and up in class against some well handicapped rivals, so worth taking on.

  3 Bon Papa  4/9
  Cork    1:55  View BetTurtle Racecard
A decent prospect for top connections, but may need the experience on hurdles debut and a very short price all things considered.

  3 Island Confusion  6/4
  Newcastle    2:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Bumper debut winner who has failed to win in 8 race since. First run for the Dan Skelton yard, but has it to prove on first run in 350 days.

  1 Capitaine  6/4
  Sandown    2:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won 2 from 3 since sent hurdling, but it is questionable what he has beaten. Wears a hood and has been 'daydreaming' at times in races. One to take on at a short price with those concerns.

  5 Finian's Oscar  2/1
  Sandown    2:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Cost £250K, but this morning's price is based on reputation rather what he has proven on the racetrack.

  2 Scoir Mear  2/1
  Cork    2:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
2 firsts followed by 2 seconds and now up a further 6lbs in the weights. He may find 1 or 2 of these better handicapped today.

  1 Blazer  1/1
  Cork    3:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has failed to win in last 4 starts for top connections and has questions to answer and worth opposing at short odds.

  1 Illwalktheline  11/10
  Newcastle    3:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Clear form choice of those that have run with more to come having won at Carlisle last month.

  1 Anchor Man  2/1
  Wincanton    3:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Followed up Exeter debut win with a disappointing effort up in class at Cheltenham latest having made a few jumping errors. The yard also run Black Valentine in this race and that may offer a better value alternative.

  7 West Coast Time  5/4
  Cork    4:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
With top connections, but may need the experience on debut. Market will be best guide as to what is expected.

  1 Drumconnor Lad  6/4
  Cork    4:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Beaten 16 lengths when finishing 2nd on debut, so not sure how much that form is worth and plenty of unexposed types in this race to take him on with at a short price.

  4 Chupalla  2/1
Wolverhampton (A.W)    7:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Well beaten when last seen on the racetrack at Sandown last May. Has it to prove after a 226 day break and looks plenty short enough at morning prices.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. The Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  2. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the RATINGS tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  3. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names) , as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  4. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  5. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  6. Click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  7. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
