ITV Racing Tips

Haydock 2:05 Sky Bet Supreme Trial Rossington Main Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) (1) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  4  Neon Wolf 5/2
Looked a horse to follow when winning at Exeter earlier this month on hurdling debut. With plenty more improvement to come can give today's favourite some stiff competition.

Haydock 2:40 Stanjames.Com Champion Hurdle Trial Hurdle (Grade 2) (1) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  2  The New One 2/1
Has won this race for the past two years and can make it three today if his sometime wayward jumping holds up.

Haydock 3:15 Peter Marsh Handicap Chase (A Limited Handicap) (Grade 2) (1) 5yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
  1  Alary 5/1
Has attracted Gold Cup support and this French Import can continue Colin Tizzard's excellent form in big Saturday races.

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
  9  Free Stone Hill 9/1
  Haydock    12:55  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has shown initial promise in short career so far and could put up an improved performance on handicap debut for top yard.

  4  Neon Wolf 5/2
  Haydock    2:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Looked a horse to follow when winning at Exeter earlier this month on hurdling debut. With plenty more improvement to come can give today's favourite some stiff competition.

  1  Alary 5/1
  Haydock    3:15  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has attracted Gold Cup support and this French Import can continue Colin Tizzard's excellent form in big Saturday races.

  3  Pistol Park 5/2
  Haydock    3:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Up 4lbs for recent Uttoxeter success and more to come. His excellent attitude will make him hard to beat.

  1  Showboating 10/1
Newcastle (A.W)    7:15  View BetTurtle Racecard
Hasn't won for a while, but hinted at a return to form last time. Worth chancing at a decent price.

  4  Bell Heather 15/2
Newcastle (A.W)    7:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Well handicapped and this step up in trip can see a return to winning ways.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
  6 Jezki  10/11
  Navan    1:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Missed the whole of last season, but the class act in this field if anywhere near his best on return to the track. With doubts about main market rivals he looks the percentage call in this race. Worth monitoring in the market though, as any negative moves would be a concern.

  3 Indian Dandy  6/4
Lingfield (A.W)    1:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Debut winner over course and distance and plenty more to come.

  1 Politologue  6/4
  Haydock    1:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won around here on chase debut and trainer Paul Nicholls thinks this one is a future stable star and will be difficult to beat.

  1 Elgin  9/4
  Haydock    2:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won last two and remains a decent prospect. Best performance has been on a faster surface and this soft/heavy ground could be against him and at such a short price is worth taking on.

  1 Pinzolo  7/4
Lingfield (A.W)    2:35  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has won both starts over course and distance and remains well treated, so should go close.

  1 Ardamir  10/11
Lingfield (A.W)    3:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Unlucky not to win when cruising through the race before hitting trouble on home straight at Wolverhampton. Compensation awaits here.

  2 Arbre De Vie  6/4
  Navan    3:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
With top connections and entitled to come on for Fairyhouse seasonal debut when beaten into 2nd after being heavily supported.

  4 Al Yarmouk  7/4
Lingfield (A.W)    3:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has improved on both starts having just being beaten at Newcastle latest. With more to come for top connections, he should be up to winning this.

  7 School Run  3/2
Newcastle (A.W)    6:15  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has shown promise on both starts round here and should put up a bold show in a weaker race than last time.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. On any racecard, click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further.
  2. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) are enjoying an unusually high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
  3. The racecard Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  4. The horseshoes may change through the racing day, as the vibes and markets change. Click on the STATS button and select the HORSESHOES tab for a live summary view of the horseshoes and a set of rosettes that show the horses we think are most likely to win at that moment in time based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes.
  5. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names), as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  6. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  7. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
