View BetTurtle Racecard
racecard silks  4  Pretend 7/4
Put in a sub par performance in a race possibly not run to suit when odds on favourite last time. With plenty of pace to aim at in this race can get back to winning ways.

View BetTurtle Racecard
racecard silks  1  Frodon 4/6

Kempton 3:00 Sky Bet Dovecote Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2) (1) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
racecard silks  4  River Wylde 10/3
Has won both hurdle starts and looks an above average horse with significant potential. The Nicky Henderson yard have won this race 3 times in recent years.

Lingfield (A.W) 3:15 Betway Winter Derby Stakes (Group 3) (All-Weather Championship Fast-Track Qualifier) (1) 4yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
racecard silks  1  Mutakayyef 3/2
Showed considerable improvement last year over a mile and proved liking for this trip when finishing 3rd in the Group 1 Juddmonte at York. The class act in this race and will take some beating.

Kempton 3:35 Betbright Handicap Chase (Grade 3) (1) 5yo+
View BetTurtle Racecard
racecard silks  6  Irish Saint 6/1
Has to definitively prove suitability stepping up to this 3 mile trip, but today's better ground will help. If staying, should go close for the Paul Nicholls yard who have won this race twice in the recent past.

Win Value Tips

Our value bets highlight the horses we think have the best chance of winning at value prices (typically 2/1+).  Our NAP is the bet we are most confident with and NB is our next best selection at prices better than odds on.
racecard silks  1  Jury Duty 4/1
  Chepstow    3:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Won on seasonal debut at Navan in November and been off the track since. Has the form to win this if ready to go and is Irish trainer Gordon Elliot's sole UK runner today.

racecard silks  4  Sennockian Star 3/1
Lingfield (A.W)    4:25  View BetTurtle Racecard
Outbattled today's main market rival Rydan when winning over course and distance last month. Has run respectably twice since and is the one to beat in this race for the in form Mark Johnston yard.

racecard silks  3  Major Jumbo 2/1
Wolverhampton (A.W)    7:15  View BetTurtle Racecard
Just lost out in step up to a class 4 last time on only 3rd all weather run. Open to further improvement and should be in the mix.

Back or Lay Tips

We review the chances of today's short priced runners with a view to backing or laying them. The Lay Of The Day is the horse we think represents poor value and has the most realistic chance of being beaten today.
racecard silks  6 Oud Metha Bridge  7/4
Lingfield (A.W)    1:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Form pick from those that have run and step up in trip should suit.

racecard silks  10 Dinaria Des Obeaux  1/1
  Fairyhouse    1:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Obvious choice on known form, but only 2 favourites have won this race in past 10 runnings, so worth looking elsewhere for a bit of value.

racecard silks  1 Charli Parcs  4/7
  Kempton    1:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Impressive winner on UK debut over course and distance in December. Leading fancy for next months Triumph Hurdle and should win this enroute.

racecard silks  4 Pretend  7/4

racecard silks  1 Frodon  4/6

racecard silks  1 Rock The Kasbah  6/4
  Chepstow    2:30  View BetTurtle Racecard
Remains open to improvement over fences and returns to the scene of debut chase victory. In with a decent chance.

racecard silks  1 Mutakayyef  3/2
Lingfield (A.W)    3:15  View BetTurtle Racecard
Showed considerable improvement last year over a mile and proved liking for this trip when finishing 3rd in the Group 1 Juddmonte at York. The class act in this race and will take some beating.

racecard silks  3 The Dutchman  5/4
  Newcastle    3:20  View BetTurtle Racecard
Fell last time when travelling well and about to make move and has a progressive profile over fences. The one to beat if handling this drop back in trip.

racecard silks  3 Rag Tatter  4/5
Lingfield (A.W)    3:50  View BetTurtle Racecard
Placed in all 3 turf starts and the one to beat if ready to go after a break and on all weather debut.

racecard silks  2 The Nipper  4/7
  Newcastle    3:55  View BetTurtle Racecard
Has the natural ability to win this doing handstands, but has run out, fallen and nearly threw last race away in closing stages in last 3 runs. Will win if on best behaviour.

racecard silks  3 Dicosimo  7/4
  Fairyhouse    4:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
Yet to win in 3 chase starts, but last time out 2nd was encouraging and can go close for the Willie Mullins yard.

racecard silks  4 Aupcharlie  6/4
  Fairyhouse    4:40  View BetTurtle Racecard
Ran well in better race last year and makes seasonal rules debut today. Finished 2nd in a point to point a fortnight ago and that should have put him spot on for this with top amateur taking the ride.

racecard silks  1 Champ  4/7
  Kempton    4:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Classy debut winner at Southwell last month and strong in the betting for the Cheltenham Bumper. Should prove too good for these.

racecard silks  1 Carlos Du Fruitier  6/4
  Newcastle    5:05  View BetTurtle Racecard
All the way debut winner at Warwick last month and should be up to doubling up today.

racecard silks  3 Empire Burleque  10/11
  Fairyhouse    5:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Bought for €92K having dead heated in point and positive reports from yard. Should go close on rules debut.

racecard silks  1 Fulham Road  3/2
  Fairyhouse    5:10  View BetTurtle Racecard
Willie Mullins inmate, who fell in a point to point and has been off the track for the last 3 years as a result. Looks plenty short enough on rules debut and worth taking on.

racecard silks  2 Fulham  6/4
Wolverhampton (A.W)    6:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Went close over 10 furlongs on debut latest, but this step up in trip not sure to suit.

racecard silks  1 Shamrokh  11/8
Wolverhampton (A.W)    7:45  View BetTurtle Racecard
Cost £200K and looked a useful prospect in the manner of recent victory at Newcastle. Open to further improvement and should be up to winning this.

Winning Money With BetTurtle Racecards

We think our race cards are brilliant (we may be a little bit biased) and we are determined to help everyone that uses BetTurtle to learn their power. Here are a few handy tips to increase your chances of profit.
  1. If you are using BetTurtle on your mobile, turn your phone to landscape mode to read tables with data more easily.
  2. On any racecard, click the STATS and FORM buttons to see a wealth of information that can help you further. We highly recommend you look around the many tabs and tables, as this is a 'goldmine' of information to help you find winners. You can sort the tables by clicking the arrow next to the column headings.
  3. On any racecard, Click the horses name to see details of last 3 runs.
  4. On any racecard, Click the Form button and click the race date to see the top 3 runners, how the race has worked out and view the racecard.
  5. Hot trainers and jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) have a high winner strike rate in the past few weeks and should always be considered.
  6. The racecard Horseshoes help you filter the best horses in the race. In general, too much RED and you should avoid the horse. The exceptions are for horses from Shrewd trainers (Gold Stars next to their name), hot trainers or jockeys (names with RED backgrounds) and horses that have attracted market support (GREEN horseshoe).
  7. Pay attention to our horseshoe ratings and picks/rankings, as one of our Top 3 Horseshoes wins 64% of all races. Click on the STATS button and select the HORSESHOES tab for a live summary view of the horseshoe picks/rankings based on form, current odds and racecourse vibes. You can follow our live ratings in race card order here during the racing day.
  8. Watch out for Shrewd Trainers (Gold Stars next to their names), as they are trainers who have a habit of winning at decent odds in certain types of races.
  9. In the main, avoid cold trainers and jockeys (names with BLUE backgrounds) unless there is market support (GREEN market horseshoe).
  10. The free tips we provide often win at decent prices and currently have a 28% strike rate. Whilst we would love to help make you a profit, we don't guarantee it and only bet what you can afford. Be wary of our win tips if the market horseshoe is RED.
  11. Familiarise yourself with the information available under our Pointers menu. This can give you lots of clues to winner finding.
  12. Use the powerful Horse Search feature. Use the search bar to type in and filter by horse, jockey and trainer name. Use the arrows beside each column header to sort the data. Is is great to find where trainers are sending their horses, what rides jockeys have at a meeting, etc.
  13. If you want more hints and tips, new BetTurtle feature announcements and some additional tipping info subscribe to our newsletter by filling in your details in the big red box below.
